Many K-12 teachers across the state and the country are doing amazing jobs keeping in touch w/ their students online and providing lessons and activities to keep the kids engaged during this unprecedentedly weird time we are living in. Vermont’s Parent Child Centers are also doing it for their 3-5-year olds!

Eliza Minnucci, OCPCC board member and mom of two of our very special ‘kiddos’ sent photographs of her adorable sons enjoying a package of art supplies received from Orange County Parent Child

Center this week!

Five-year old Finn is in the Public Pre-K program as mandated by VT Act 166, which provides for free universal Pre-K education to 3-5-year olds. OCPCC is contracted to provide services for Chelsea and Tunbridge schools.

This week all Pre-K students received an envelope with art supplies and a book! We are happy to see that Finn shared his goodies with his little brother Auden, who is also in the OCPCC Early Ed program.

The Pre-K teachers are providing a menu of activities that support kindergarten readiness and are connected with the kids weekly.

They even still get their music time with Miss Brooke! Ah! the wonders of technology!
