The Orange County Parent Child Center is delighted to welcome Anne Raiken RN to its professional staff. Anne will be at OCPCC part-time as she also works in lactation services at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital. She became a Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) ten years ago.

Anne is already working with families by phone and video chats and will be on-site as soon as Early Childhood Centers are able to re-open. Her extensive experience as an obstetric and neonatal nurse will bring a whole new range of skills and services to the parent child center, especially for parents of newborns and infants.

Anne grew up near Philadelphia and spent several years in Virginia before moving to Vermont in 2014.  After studying Art History, she followed an interest in women’s health and changed paths to nursing.  OB nursing became her passion during school and she has spent most of her career working with mothers and their babies in hospital.

She is looking forward to expanding her work outward into the community and getting to know its newest members!  In her free time Anne enjoys gardening, knitting, reading mystery novels, learning about herbs, and spending time at home with her family, cats, and flock of chickens.
